Through EU4Health, the PRC aims to consolidate and strengthen its national network dedicated to mental health and psychosocial support, benefiting both direct beneficiaries (people displaced by the conflict in Ukraine) and the PRC professionals and volunteers who are on the ground every day, working with and within human vulnerability.
As a humanitarian organization, our most valuable asset is our human capital—our professionals and volunteers—but resources to protect and care for this asset are not always available. EU4Health seeks to fill that gap.
Accordingly, we are running capacity-building activities from 2023 through 2025, including Psychological First Aid training under the protocol used by the Psychosocial Center and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, intended to be universal across the Movement (“Look – Listen – Link,” from the World Health Organization), as well as various mental health promotion initiatives.
